Hello frenchie. Long time no see

Today I did a classic french mani and I can't even remember why, but I think it turned out pretty cute.

I might keep this mani for some days ;)
I used Depend - no. 31 and Rimmel - Lycra French Manicure 442 French Rose

I also did my toes today.
Barry M - Berry Ice Cream and H&M Blue Wave
Because of the sheerness of Blue Wave it is on top of Berry Ice Cream, which is a pastel pinky purple. Now it's purple without the extra pink. Even though Blue Wave is so sheer, it really has lots of lots of shimmer in it - blue and purple shimmer. Adorable.
The shimmer was very hard to 'catch' with the camera but I hope you can see it in the pictures below :)

I have no idea why, but this picture insisted on turning the wrong way -.-'
Enjoy your summer! :)

Green Hawaii Rainbow

Yeah, it sounds good :b
I found out that it looks very lovely with Gosh - Rainbow(or any other warm coloured flakie) on top of Gosh - Green Hawaii.
This adds even more glitter and colours to the manicure and it sparkles so very very pretty. You can only see the flakes in the shadow and in light you just get more colourful glitter :) it's great!

Lazyness and green glitter polish

I've been lazy at the moment especially with blogging. My apologies.
On Sunday I was shopping and I accidentally unintentionally bought 5 lacquers, uups.
Anyway, they were really cheap so I thought it was okay.
From left to right: H&M - Blue Wave, H&M - Sea Pearl, H&M - Ocean Sand, Gosh - 548 Green Hawaii, Gosh - 546 Rainbow
The H&M lacquers contain 11 mL and I got them for only 10 kr each(about £1,2 or $1,9) and I got the Gosh for only 15 kr each(about £1,8 or $2,8) and I'm very happy about that. I also bought Rainbow for Stine :)
Blue Wave is a baby blue lacquer with shimmer in blue and purple, Sea Pearl also contains shimmer. It's hard to see if it's holographic or just pink/peach, I'm gonna have to find out when I try it on. Ocean Sand is a brown base with silver shimmer. Green Hawaii is a fresh green with holo glitter in all of the rainbows' colours and at last but not least Rainbow is a flakie which shines mostly in orange nuances.
Blurry photo of Green Hawaii to see some of the amazing glitter
I had to try Green Hawaii out immediately :)
Again blurry to see the effect

With matte top coat on my ring finger and pinkie
I hope you are enjoying your holiday :D

A little experiment

Hello there everyone
Some of you might have noticed the last post on this blog was not made by me.
Well, here's the story. My dear friend, colleague and fellow addict Stine and I decided to try to combine our blogs into one. To see how this works we will in two weeks write every post on both blogs. If this works out we are thinking about making it a permanent solution.
The reason you might ask yourself, is to keep the blog more updated(two persons equals about twice as many posts) and to have a blog with a wider area of style because we consider our styles to be very different.
We hope this works out well and you guys can follow us both here and on Stines' blog.

An offer you can't refuse !

My very first post on Katrine's blog, exiting!

Ok, this post is not very Godfather like, but thought it sounded nice ! :)

I was shopping for a birthday present for a friend of mine when I saw that Magasin at Kgs. Nytorv in Copenhagen has 3 for 2 on their OPIs.

I think it took me 15 minutes to decide which ones to buy, and even helped a fellow polish obsessed person chosing her colors, gotta help people out when you can ;)

I decided on a secret one for the present and got these two beautys for my self

Introducing, from the left
China Glaze, Techno
OPI Lucerne-tainly look marelous
OPI yodel me on my cell

Didn't get a photo of just the OPIs, so here they are with their new best friend, Techno from China Glaze

New crack polishes

Here the other day I bought two lovely crack polishes from Depend.
I I had to try these out and made a cracked manicure.

Sally Hansen - 110 Green With Envy vs. Depend green without number

Since I bought Sally Hansen - 110 Green With Envy I've thought it was identical with the green Depend without a number.
Anyway I decided  to compare them on my nails and if you can't tell the difference I'm wearing Green With Envy on my thumb, middle finger and pinkie. It's Depend on the two other nails.

At first glance - and second and third - you can't really tell the difference but you can see in some of the pictures that the Depend lacquer is a bit more fresh neon greenish.
