OPI, Essie and H&M

For this mani I used
H&M mini - dark purple
Essie - Carnival
OPI - Show It And Glow It

The first two fingers are dark purple and carnival. Last two are the OPI polish. Wanted to see how they looked on top of the H&M polish.
Unfortunately the result wasn't all that impressing I think.

Best friends:)
Would be nice to try them on without anything on as a base.
Would probably take 1000 years to do, but think the result would be amazing :)

And the holo-glitter-pics :)

Gosh Holographic

This polish makes me think of this amazing song by the beatles.
Listen to it while you're reading this post, it'll do you good :)

This polish really doesn't need any introduction. Get ready to be picture- spammed! <3

Green Hawaii Rainbow

Yeah, it sounds good :b
I found out that it looks very lovely with Gosh - Rainbow(or any other warm coloured flakie) on top of Gosh - Green Hawaii.
This adds even more glitter and colours to the manicure and it sparkles so very very pretty. You can only see the flakes in the shadow and in light you just get more colourful glitter :) it's great!

Lazyness and green glitter polish

I've been lazy at the moment especially with blogging. My apologies.
On Sunday I was shopping and I accidentally unintentionally bought 5 lacquers, uups.
Anyway, they were really cheap so I thought it was okay.
From left to right: H&M - Blue Wave, H&M - Sea Pearl, H&M - Ocean Sand, Gosh - 548 Green Hawaii, Gosh - 546 Rainbow
The H&M lacquers contain 11 mL and I got them for only 10 kr each(about £1,2 or $1,9) and I got the Gosh for only 15 kr each(about £1,8 or $2,8) and I'm very happy about that. I also bought Rainbow for Stine :)
Blue Wave is a baby blue lacquer with shimmer in blue and purple, Sea Pearl also contains shimmer. It's hard to see if it's holographic or just pink/peach, I'm gonna have to find out when I try it on. Ocean Sand is a brown base with silver shimmer. Green Hawaii is a fresh green with holo glitter in all of the rainbows' colours and at last but not least Rainbow is a flakie which shines mostly in orange nuances.
Blurry photo of Green Hawaii to see some of the amazing glitter
I had to try Green Hawaii out immediately :)
Again blurry to see the effect

With matte top coat on my ring finger and pinkie
I hope you are enjoying your holiday :D

Polish addicted? I really must be

I'm beginning to think that I have a polish problem.
I can't even keep my nails polish free for 3 days. It has not even been 48 hours since I removed my nail polish. And the worse part must be that I did wear polish in the meantime - strengthening polish because my nails really need that.

Anyway, I did a little stamping on every nail but then I had to try my new lacquer Nubar 2010 from Nubar, my first flakie!

I added different dark shimmer and holographic lacquers and added the lovely flakie on top

Pimping my nails

Today I felt like pimping my nails so I covered half of each nail in a different colour. I did this on top of my mani I had already.
But when I saw this tutorial I had to try that out
  Tutorial Double ligthning bolt

The lacquers I used are:
L'Oréal - Resist & Shine Titanium no. 732 and 736
Gosh - 550 Purple Heart and 593 Midnight Blue
La Femme Beauty - 34 Azure and 21 Baby Blue

They're all shimmery/chrome lacquers and one is holographic and I think they look pretty good together. The Baby Blue polish is maybe too bright with the others but when the others are all so similar you have to look a bit closely to see where the colour changes.

This is the first time I have used tape to make nail designs and I am surprised how well it works. You get the most perfect lines by using tape so I'm definitely going to do that another time.

Gosh - Purple Heart

Today I did the most simple manicure as long as I can remember. Only one colour. Okay I admit it, the lacquer contains several colours.
What I'm talking about is Gosh - 550 Purple Heart. It's a very lovely holographic lacquer and mostly shines purple but also has greenish colours in it.
Here you can see the purple colour and it shines more in natural light. I just loove it!
It looks a bit ruff but that's not the lacquer it's my nail that's kind of torn apart.
Here you can see some of the greenish shimmer.

On the tip of the my nail it's almost yellow.
I think it's an amazing lacquer and in the bottle it has a very oily colour.
I put on two layers but one covers pretty good also.

The sad part is that when I went to swim practice today it all fell off. Okay I helped it a bit :b But that means new polish again tomorrow - or tonight! :)
